What is Grooming (online)?
An adult building trust with a child online in order to exploit or abuse them.
Groomers pose as peers in games and social apps, offer gifts and flattery, then push for secrecy, private chats, and images. The strongest protection is a child who knows they can tell you anything without punishment; report suspected grooming to your national child-protection hotline.
